A Place For Wonder
Explore A Place For Wonder
“Our society is much more interested in information than wonder, in noise rather than silence... And I feel that we need a lot more wonder and a lot more silence in our lives”
- Fred Rogers
Nature-Focus
We will work with and learn through nature. This will increase our physical movement, imagination, creativity, and healthy risk taking. By being in nature together, we will learn responsibility and work to become stewards of nature. We will garden and cook together as this connects us with the Earth.
Play and Emergent Learning
In our home program, we allow children to engage in open ended play. These opportunities are child led and driven. While in play, we are learning which leads to more natural inquiry.
Inclusion and Kindness
We embrace students and families of all religions, races, genders and abilities. We will learn alongside each other while establishing strong bonds and developing effective and respectful communication. We will treat ourselves, others and nature with kindness.
